    Mariner is a very sweet boy that adores hugs and a devoted companion -- quite simply, he's a joy to live with! But in the show ring, this handsome boy is all business and gives 100% during the entire time he is in the ring.
    Mariner ranked in the Top 10 in Breed and All-Breed Statistics in both 2007 and 2009, and in limited showing was also a Top 20 Golden in Breed in 2010 while earning his GCH. He has received 3 invitations to the GRCA Top 20 Gala. He was a 2007, 2009, 2010 and 2011 qualifier for the AKC Eukanuba National Championship. Mariner has been ranked in Canada in 2010-2012 and completed his GRCC SDHF while becoming the #2 Golden in Canada in 2011 while shown on a limited basis.
    Mariner has a beautiful headpiece, expressive dark eyes, a lush, straight light gold coat with blonde furnishings, black pigment, and full dentition with a scissors bite. His beautiful sidegait, clean movement, proper tail carriage straight off his back along with a very showy attitude and ring presence has made him a standout in the specials ring for nearly 7 years!
    Mariner’s strong pedigree features some of the top Goldens of the past and he is a 5-generation BISS- SDHF dog, with strong working ability on both sides of the pedigree. During his very successful Specials career, Mariner has continued to train and compete in performance events. Earning his TD in May 2012, Mariner became the first Golden GCH with Field and Tracking titles!
    Mariner easily achieved his Bronze GCH and is now closing in on his Silver GCH at nearly 8 years of age. He still floats around the ring effortlessly and is extremely competitive in the Specials ring, consistently beating much younger dogs and taking numerous group placements in 2012. Mariner enjoys excellent health and has full clearances – he was the first SDHF Golden to be tested for prcd-PRA, PRA1 and Ichthyosis.
